Where to pee in the middle of the night?

I don't have to pee in the middle of the night very often but when I do, I'm normal horny for a bit of piss fun.  I usually piss somewhere in the room, usually a corner or somewhere out of the way.  I just soak the carpet and then hop back in bed

Why not right in your bed?? It will get a lil cold later in the night but by then you need to go again anyway so you just warm your bed back up!! It is by far the most convenient place to tinkle in the middle of the night. I ALWAYS used wet my bed before I went into pampers.

Back in the day there used to be a period of time where, before I went to sleep, I'd secretly put a towel on the floor next to my bed so that at night when i needed to pee I would just gently move my penis out from underneath the blankets and then pee onto the towel without moving to much or even waking up properly.

But a few weeks later when I put the towel into the laundry for the first time my mom asked why it had such a strong pee smell. I blamed it on the cat which was a valid excuse and after that I stopped doing it so that my mom wouldn't notice anything.

Off the side of the bed. Enjoy the noise as the stream lands on the floor. Maybe first thing in the morning pee in the bed as you wake up, soak your pants and sheets, that sounds relaxing.

(Don't know where you live, but perhaps some nights are cold. Who knows.) If you don't want to leave your bed but you don't want to get it wet (which, honestly, is understandable - more trouble than it's worth) but you also want to be relatively undisturbed, you could just hang your bottom off the side of the bed and piss on the carpet. I guess you'd kind of have to pay attention to where it was going so that you didn't wet the mattress....but if you didn't care so much about the side of the mattress getting wet or the puddle being too close to your bed, you could back it out and piss without even looking or caring where it went. (Having to worry about wet spots being where they shouldn't can ruin a good night's sleep, as you're likely to stress about it and want to clean it up then and there.)

If you don't want to wet your mattress but you don't mind a bit of splashback, you can basically pee off of the bed on to the carpet from any position without having to move much as long as you move your blankets. You might get your sheets a bit wet depending on where you do it, but you won't necessarily be soaking your mattress. You will, however, have to deal with wet sheets later, so there's a drawback (or a plus if you're into that, who knows).

So yeah, stuff like this comes down to your details and what you're into. I think your options will change depending on what you feel like in the moment. Hope this thought experiment helps you.

I’ve been doing a lot of peeing off the side of the bed, my mattress is on the floor so I spread my legs and set my feet on the ground. I just go right there. A little gets on my mattress sometimes but it’s not a big deal. 
 

I also really like using the closet as my bathroom. It feels really naughty to squat on the floor and just relieve myself in the privacy of my own room.

sometimes i do it directly in the bed if i feel like it's not going to be too much (i don't want to sleep in a complete soggy puddle okay a few times it has been) but if i do it in my room in the middle of the night i will go in an area where i keep dirty towels and put my legs stance apart and let go. but most times i make myself hold it until i'm near bursting in the morning.

From my personal opinion I would not use any of your choices.  I did vote for your first choice because you might just make it as easy as possible for yourself, since it is your room don't leave your bed.

I usually opt for either pissing off the edge of the bed or standing up to piss. I normally piss of the bed in the middle of the night while still half asleep and piss as soon as I stand up in the morning. Personally I think it's the most convenient option. A floor towel is optional but I'd recommend folding it or stacking a couple so it doesn't leak everywhere. Just make sure you don't miss the towel. You could also piss into your laundry basket since the clothes are gonna be washed anyway.

Peeing off the side of the bed is fine, although I myself usually rather just wet the bed
