Yes, this is an aggravating tale dating back to 1979.

I purchased a grainy 8 mm film in an adult bookstore  titled " Eau de Toilette"

I could not watch it when I got home because a friend of mine borrowed my projector bulb, so i only watched it on another friend of  mine's editing machine.

I was finally ready to watch the film after buying a new bulb, only to discover the film was missing.  I had it tucked away in a drawer, so I was angered and confused it was gone.
