This is such an awesome forum with something for (almost) everyone. 

I have to be in the right mood for written fiction, and then there are some writing styles that make me click back on the first line. I do like the short wet carpet magazine letters though - can’t beat a first person confession.

Just a follow on thought - my phone gives the option to read text out loud - sometimes in the mood while I’m driving home I’ll have my phone read me a wet bedtime story.

(On the iPhone it’s under general > settings > accessibility > speech. You can choose the voice too, Serena is my favourite to be whispering naughtiness in my ear).

@F.W contributions to the forum, above all with his own character and personality (and indeed Fanny when you log in less your absence IS FELT) is enough not to need excusations for lack of interest over some niches of this forum

I, personally, started reading them out of curiosity and found some great stories (@nopjans PissEmpire is what brought me here on Peefans, from Literotica), but I fully understand the lack of focus about exceedingly long stories, though I love them nonetheless if written by people that REALLY know how to write like him, or also @Brutus and @polecat

 

From me, I had this inspiration to write my most recent installment, LOCH kinkiNESS, with a new attitude, which is mixing actual fiction with piss voyeurism, more a real story with piss moments rather than an erotic tale, and more than anything very, VERY short chapters, for people who got less time or interest in fiction

Results until now had been very positive and encouraging!!!

Anybody doing it will have Admin kicking him out of the forum, my hacker friends finding his true identity and sending piss emails to all his working collegue and superiors, and a curse on his head placed by me

I had a motherfucker fired last week by cursing him: he said he had awful nightmares that night (quite funny, they had images and happenings he confessed, ahahah which I personally wrote like a psychic email) and was very distracted, and ended up having an anger-crisis telling all his bosses they were scumbags ahahahah and he got politely asked to find another place where to work HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

You have to remember that no one here is a troll or jaded professional writing critic looking to pick your work apart, so you're not going to get the harsh reactions you're afraid of. Those people aren't here. I'd recommend staying off of something like Literotica until your more confident because that crowd WILL destroy your work in no uncertain terms if it's not top quality. The worst you'll get here is simply no reactions at all, or very few.

If you ever want to post here, I'd also recommend you start small, not something that you put 20 or 30 hours into. Maybe a one page short at first. And hard as it is, try to not be focused on being validated by reactions. I've worked on some fictional stories here harder and longer than anyone should for no pay, and then posted them and often gotten so little views and reactions compared to other writers that I thought maybe I should just focus on other things. Still, I wrote the story I wanted to and that's all that mattered. Telling the story YOU want to tell is when you'll be at your best in any case. But I think that given how loved and respected you are here, you will get plentiful encouragement so don't be afraid. You in particular are unique here in that we all know you write, but you haven't presented anything to us, so there is an aura of mystery and anticipation for you to make your entrance into our fictional league. Just remember, you'll won't be attacked and ridiculed.

Let me reiterate as a mod, that if anyone here ripped one of your stories to shreds or tried in anyway to be negatively judgemental or to make you feel bad, we would come down on him or her like a ton of bricks. Such behaviour for one thing is actually against forum rules. Anyone doing that would be running the severe risk of some kind of ban. We don't want people on this forum trying to make those who contribute feel bad.

This forum is a safe space for you to post your stories. Trust me on that.

If you are unsure, might I suggest a very short one first just to dip your toe in? If you want to, that is, because it is your call. No pressure at all.

This thread is why I love this site and community. At first I thought that there was no need to apologize, or say anything at all - if someone doesn't want to read these stories, there's certainly no requirement to do so. Yet, this thread has generated a lot of wonderful thoughts on writing, creativity, and community. There's even been a visit by the ghost of one of my favorite authors, Umberto Eco. 😁 

I try to target my stories for around 2000 words. That's what feels like the right length for me, but I enjoy works by other authors that are much longer and much shorter. I'm delighted that this community enjoys my stories to the degree that it does, but if they did not, I'd still imagine the same things.

@Blackinksoul30, I know you work very hard on your writing, and I hope you share some of it here. I think you'll find a very receptive and supportive audience.
