The two were walking home from the pub. The road went along the shore for a while, and they couldn’t miss to look toward the Loch. The Blackness of waters and that of the moonless sky merged as one. All of a sudden, a freezing wind blowed in the summer night, just for a while, but they shivered, and couldn’t fail to realize humans just like to think they know the world, but around them stretches endlessly the cold embrace of an infinite whose every shadow was the rabbit hole for a Wonderland of horrors and marvels. In the silence, they felt all of a sudden so alone in an alien wasteland. Ancient voiceless curses and whispers were calling Nancy toward the immemorial abyss… “Do you think it’s out there?” Gwen’s voice broke the spell, something for which the other was happy beyond explainations, and thus replied: “I wasn’t sure before… but now… after what happened today… unless we met a fresh-water whale or a boat-sized fish…” She looked at Gwen in the total darkness: she longed for her voice again… she got to get moving, or the shadows would have swallowed her whole, and nothing would have remained of her, just a local girl talking to newspapers that she wasn’t crazy, she really welcomed a girl from abroad, who just was eaten alive by the night Nancy asked herself if the Monster wasn’t impossible to find exactly for the same reason: maybe, the darkness ate it too “What do we do now?” asked the red haired one, to which the other girl looked around: “We go home… and get some sleep! It's that way, past the pier and the town square…” The two were reaching the place, and Nancy had to admit that the square was really lovable, so cute and well kept, it was almost cuddling her. No city lights, but from windows still came some light, cutting through the night like a finger sneaks inside a pussy Looking around, she saw the pier on her back, and tuned that way. The Scath na Deithe and the Gazer were moored there, with another small but quite imposing offshore, the Riastrad. But they had no need for such a powerful machinery, so they would have tried the old Angus McCallahorn again the next morning… “Darling, please, could we hurry up? I have unvoluntarily crafted a world, a town with people doing things, Drumnadrochit got a resident population of 1000 people, all adult or old, but with tourists it reaches 4000, and though most of them are middle aged, there are also many youngsters, so I guess that currently there are at least two, three dozens of boys and girls the age of Gwyneth (that for those who do not know gaelish means "Queen") and Nancy, and at least a little percentage of them are resident, so likely to be already friends to Gwen and Lars Lars McTaggart (Gwen's arrogant ex) is more or less their age too, so I plan to make things happen, people doing things, not like a forced porn story, the pivot paradoxically remains the monster, piss chances will be lived more like voyeurism Edited April 19, 2019 by spywareonya 2 3 Quote Link to post

The party… Last days had been so intense and filled with events, that Nancy completely forgot about it. On her behalf, Gwen was so stoned by what the red haired tempress tricked her into, that she dared not sway her from the search of the mythical creature, which seemed her only true interest… Yet, they were so drunk and late when they went to bed, that they forgot to set the alarm, and when they finally awoke, it was much past lunch time Nancy remained petrified as soon as she opened her eyes, because when you just got up from a deep, serene and dreamless sleep, you can somehow “feel” the moment of the day from something in the way the light fills up your sorrounding world It wasn’t the kind of light that shines in the morning, and when Gwen too stood up, they looked at each other in horror Rushing to the window, they checked the pier, and unwithstand the distance, it was possible to identify the only three boats by their silohuettes: only the Riastrad was still moored, while both the Gazer and the Scath na Deithe weren’t available to their sight Lars’ ship was always filled with tourists, so it wasn’t that hard to understand its absence (though the tought of how it presented itself to whoever reached it first that morning, awashed with piss, still enflamed their minds), but the old McCallahorn apparently managed to find some visitor that preferred a real seawolf to the comforts and shines of the the Gazer. Nancy swore lound and angrily, making Gwen to jumpscare: “What do we do now?!” shouted. Shyly but gently, Gwen whispered to her: “Well… there is still the town party…”. At those words, the red haired one looked toward the other with curious and puzzled eyes, implicitly asking for infos. “It’s the Summer Solstice… people make fireworks and cook things… we drink, and dance…” That was enough to quench her anger. “Ok… we’ll continue the search in the next days… by which hour does the party start?”. “Mmmh…” Gwen was reflecting, “…by sunset. But they are preparing stuff since the afternoon… indeed if we go down in town by now, we will find them all very busy…” Nancy stretched and yawned. We’re half a dozen, included… ehm… Lars… I’ll introduce you to them all…” Gwen explained, and Nancy smiled: “I think that Lars should not be that imposing on you, emotionally speaking… you… ehehehe… expelled all the past out, I think…!!!” Gwen couldn’t help but smiling: “Indeed I fear he might have understood what happened…”.
