I think most Spanish women would just pee in the street. Its probably a bit less socially acceptable to enter someone's garden to pee, just like its odd to enter someone's garden you don't know for anything. Although, I should note, I believe it is technically against the law to pee on the street (rarely enforced) but not to pee on private property so it might have been that the safer move for the eyes of the law. I like to do this when I am traveling in Europe. I drink a ton of water when I am driving so I have to pull over and pee on the side of the road. It reminds me of when I was young and would be able to do the same. Autobahn rest stops are the best for this because everyone is fine with it.
