This is a very good question and I guess everyone has a very personal answer. I used to be from the North East and whilst I don't know what ladies are interested in peeing, I can tell you that there are plenty of them who have no qualms about peeing outdoors on a night out - I have witnessed plenty in Newcastle in particular, but coming a bit further South, I 've also seen plenty peeing in Leeds and Sheffield.

When I was much younger, I used to visit my Grandma and she had an old terraced house with the only toilet out in the small back yard. Yes, several times. Sometimes when the gents was closed for maintenance, sometimes just out of curiosity. Once when the gents was closed I went into the ladies and whilst I was in there another woman came in and I enjoyed hearing her pee before I left. I have peed small amounts in fitting rooms - mainly carpetted ones where it is not too obvious. They do generally have the problem that they are monitored fairly closely - e.g. when you leave the room the assistant goes and checks that nothing has been left in the room and looks out for tags that may have been removed from garments by unscrupulous people who may be intending to steal garments by taking them out upon their person. Any such inspections would easily spot a puddle of pee on the floor. I did once do a reverse of @owlman76's experience of buying trousers and wetting them.

it is always a fine line. the man possibly does see the signal, and really wants to act on it, but doesn’t want to screw things up by reacting if the signal is not absolutely clear. Women are very good at subtle hints that they expect men to recognise. Men are less complicated creatures and would rather hear it straight so they are sure they know where they stand. Yep, I'm another who will avoid porta loos at all costs. Unless I'm with my family who don't appreciate the idea of peeing outdoors in front of people then I avoid them like the plague. However, I have been in some toilets at events where they are a bit more upmarket and have rows of proper urinals in a trailer. These can be quite fun as often the end urinals are visible from the outside, so I can go and pee in those, standing slightly back from the urinal and know that people can see me peeing. The music festival could well be a great place for sightings. There are many posted on the internet from music festivals - the sheer volume of people plus drinking plus lack of decent toilet facilities in large enough quantities lead many to lose inhibitions and pee outside. Especially once some people start peeing outside, more are willing to join them in a quest to pee more quickly and avoid horrible toilets. Are you going on your own? if so, you'll be able to pick your spots and get some good viewing without having to make excuses to others about where you disappear off to.

It is both exciting and frustrating when you know someone is peeing like that but you can't actually get a look. I had one on Saturday when I saw two ladies go down a path and I thought they must be going to pee. I followed down the path and ahead of me, one of the them was stood in the middle of the path looking off to the right. She said something and the other lady came out of the trees. So, she must have been peeing, but her guard did her job and prevented me from seeing anything.
