I very much like the pictures in this thread. The women are so natural looking - not like airbrushed Playboy models :-) I find the pub pictures particularly interesting. Is this nudity-in-pubs thing a common practice in Europe? Here in North America it would quickly be stomped on by public morality types. Can anyone on the other side of the Atlantic comment?

p-spud, it's likely that the pub pics are from Eastern Europe.  Things are ... different there.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this line of pictures.  I think that I am the only one who has consistently marked most of the pictures "Liked".

I PM'ed Steve to ask how he came across so many suddenly.  He told me that he had done several google searches and some other types and had run into a treasure trove.

Having been given the search parameters I was invited to go look on my own.   I declined as it has taken me a lot of time just to go thru these.

Thanks for the reply. Different how? Is the difference sociological (different attitudes) or legal? Or perhaps financial in some way?

This is what Steve told me:

 

I lifted them directly off the internet, without reference to the few I had stored.

Basically, I went to google, limited the search to "images" and used search terms like "nude in public", "nude in bars", "naked waitresses" and so on. A wealth of pics became available. Clicking each one led to half a dozen more, and with each an option existed to visit the site the photo was stored on to find numerous other pics. All this led to me rapidly finding 300 or so by which time it was finally getting harder to find new pics via google. I then switched to tumblr and have quickly found more there. 

So no I didn't have them stored, but the above is how I very quickly and easily found them.

My guess, and I have nothing to back this up but my gut feeling, is a combination of all three.  A more relaxed attitude toward nudity so naked girls don't get treated like a sheep in a pack of wolves, local rules that might remove or mitigate the fear of arrest, and they may indeed be paid to appear naked in any number of venues.  

A nude girl in the US or UK would attract an unwelcome amount of attention.  Nude bike rides and runs do happen but that's a group thing.  A single nude girl in a club or in the streets would cause quite a stir.

Like I said, this is just my impression, I have no direct proof.

My gut feeling is that because these are ex-communist countries once behind the iron curtain, where everyone's lives were rigidly controlled, that their peoples reacted against that in their hearts  and are far more disdainful than western peoples would be about the state dictating moral behaviour. It probably wouldn't even occur to most people there to actually report these girls to the police. Having been overly repressed for decades I think they are more averse to moral judgementalism than we are perhaps.

They probably also got quickly used to a whole lot that was never permitted before under communism, from nudity to porn. and from prostitution to sex shops. Because these things were as new to them as naked girls walking the street, they probably have a less rigid concept of boundaries. In short, they don't really know where the line is as we seem to in the west. This enables them to get away with more in the name of freedom.
