Pee Audio at the Beach

By way of introduction, I live near the beach in the LA metropolitan area of the US. Although I am at the beach virtually every day of the year, opportunities for sightings are fairly rare, in my area. A big reason for this is that there are public restroom facilities at approximate half-mile intervals along the Strand. They are open all day and all night, virtually every day of the year. So women tend to use these facilities, rather than taking their chances peeing in the ocean, or other outdoor locations.

A few years ago, I discovered that many of these facilities were very well suited to "soundings" - listening to women peeing, while remaining outside. I describe the set-up in some detail here. For those readers who are only interested in the results, just skip the next three paragraphs. Unfortunately, all but one of the buildings described here have recently been demolished, making way for new facilities, which have individual, enclosed toilets for men and women. These provide almost no opportunities for sightings or soundings.

The older restroom buildings were rectangular, with a women's room and a men's room, separated by a wide maintenance corridor serving both, which was almost always securely locked. The width of the corridor prevented most sound transmissions between the rooms, especially the relatively delicate hisses and tinkles of the ladies. On the other hand, the main doors of both facilities were always wide open, at the front of each restroom. The stalls of the men's rooms had no doors, but those of the ladies' rooms had the usual barriers to sight, but not to sound. Each building had a drinking water fountain, located on the outside of the front wall, at the center between the restrooms. A listener standing near the fountain could hear sounds coming from both restrooms very clearly, at most times, and on most days. The notable exceptions were days when the beach and restrooms were crowded, during significant events such as street fairs, and surfing or volleyball tournaments. At those times, the background noise levels were simply too high to hear the relatively soft tinkles and hisses of the ladies.

Obviously, hanging out or lurking near the drinking fountain of any restroom building would attract unwelcome attention, and raise suspicion, especially among women using the restroom, so they might choose another. Such behavior could also eventually come to the attention of the authorities or the police. So it was not a practical strategy.

Since I walk on the Strand, as part of my cardio fitness program, I developed a fairly effective strategy of my own. When I noticed a woman who was obviously heading for a restroom, I simply followed her, at a very discreet distance, say 20 to 30 feet, or a little more. After she entered the restroom, I simply paused at the water fountain, and got a drink. I listened for the latching of the cubicle door, and the beginning of her peeing sounds. I then took my pulse and fooled around with my watch, for as long as I needed to, feigning the activities of a very serious athlete, apparently lost in my own world of split times and heart rates, but listening intently, all the while. When the sound of her peeing ended, I might decide to visit the men's room, or return to my walk on the Strand, so my activities appeared perfectly normal to anyone who may have been observing me.

I had two of my very best "soundings," using this method at the beach, in the late summer and fall of a recent year. The first was on a Saturday afternoon, in late summer. A group of 15 or 20 people seemed to be having a party and a volleyball game in an area of the beach near the restrooms. I had actually been to the men's room, and was coming out, when a young woman in a bikini walked quickly past me, on the way to the Ladies'. I decided that I needed a big drink of water from the fountain, at that point. The stall door latched, and almost immediately I heard the very loud and low-pitched sound of her pee stream hitting the water near the center of the bowl with considerable force, indicating that she may have been squatting very high, hovering, or even standing over the toilet. She peed for a long time, with a couple of stops and re-starts, and occasional loud, high-pitched hissing. It sounded like she had quite a bladder full, when she started. I wanted to hang around until after she came out, so I could check her out, to see what she really looked like, and to see whether any drops may have been overlooked on her legs when she wiped, after so much hissing and splashing. But in the end, I decided to fade away quickly, because it might look suspicious for her to see me still hanging out in that location, for so long.

The second sounding came on a very sunny, unseasonably warm weekday in late November, around noon, on my customary, fast walk. A very striking-looking, young, blonde woman walked very quickly onto the Strand from a side street, and was walking in front of me, moving very rapidly, in spite of the fact that she was wearing flip-flops, instead of athletic shoes. She was dressed in the shortest of white mini-skirts, which was hemmed just below her panties. She was actually wearing white panties under her skirt, rather than a bikini bottom, which is much more common at the beach. She had exceptionally shapely legs, and I realized that I had seen her on a couple of previous occasions, and remembered her. As she approached one of the restroom buildings, she began a shuffling jog, although that was fairly difficult in her flip-flops, and she took a short cut across the sand toward the restroom, rather than using the concrete walkway. I realized that she was really desperate to pee, and I was having a magnificent stroke of good luck, being in exactly the right place, at exactly the right time.

I followed her toward the restroom on the walkway, keeping a discreet distance, as usual, but moving quickly. I knew that she would probably start peeing very soon after entering the restroom, as desperate as she appeared to be. I was right about that. The stall door latched, and her long, hissing spray began in earnest, almost immediately. The sound of her peeing was relatively high pitched, so I thought she was probably sitting, or hovering very low over the toilet, rather than doing a high squat, or standing. Her sound was relatively loud, so I guessed that her legs were open. Her hiss had a melodic quality, almost like singing. She sprayed harder and softer, never actually stopping, for a long time, until her flow slowed to a tinkle and some final dribbles. I disappeared into the men's room at that point. When I came out, she had still not emerged. I walked back to the Strand and then noticed her coming out of the Ladies'. I changed direction, and approached her from the rear again as she continued walking in her original direction, on the Strand. As I passed her, I checked out the backs of her legs for telltale dribbles that she may have missed wiping, after such a wild, desperate, spraying piss, but couldn't find any. Guess she spent a long time, wiping carefully. Since people tend to fall into fairly regular daily patterns at the beach, I kept an eye out for her after that, hoping for a repeat performance. But I never saw her again.

Another opportunity for audio at the beach and parks is where there is a bench against the outside wall of the toilet block underneath an open window high up in the wall above the bench. Take a book (paper or e-) with you and sit on the bench you can hear almost everything from the cubicle door open/closing, the hiss or splashing of the pee falling into the bowl,  to the flush.

@Dr.P I'm glad this old story got revived. I never saw it until now and man this is great. I literally laughed when you mentioned the drinking fountain trick, I do the same thing at work to this day and did it when I was in school. But the exercise trick you came up with is damn brilliant! Perfect cover by checking pulse since runners always do that. Tipping my hat to you.

It's so exciting when you hear a stream start firing away after you've seen a hottie go inside. Whether it's a high pitch hisser or a heavy low pitch torrent punching the water, it just makes the moment such a thrill to hear a woman make so much noise from that part of her body.

I stumbled on that by blind luck, after looking carefully at the building design, which was very open, and invited finding an opportunity to exploit that. Unfortunately, most or all of those buildings have been replaced by some of different design, now.

The exercise trick came from actually doing exercise, for many years, and observing the behavior of many hard core athletes, some of whom train at the beach. They often appear to be totally immersed in their own micro-world, which reduces, or even eliminates the suspicion that they may be observing , listening to, or interacting with the world outside of themselves, in any way. So other people, athletes and non-athletes, women and men, tend to recognize their fixations, and totally ignore them, which is to their advantage, and keeps them out of embarrassing, and even threatening, social situations.

I agree that actually hearing women's pee sounds is very exciting, in itself. But I think that making the connection between the external appearance of the woman and her pee sounds makes it even more exciting.

I think a lot of guys with the fetish figured their way to the fountain as a good cover. I started using it in junior high when I was 13, realizing I could hear girls and teachers clearly. I caught my 7th grade English teacher having great pees several times that year. She was an airhead but her peeing was insane. She was a solid built curvy blonde with thick legs and hips, and gorgeous face. I'd hang around at my locker for a minute and she would often come to use the girls room literally just across the hall. I would fidget with books and then slowly use the fountain and through both combined had enough time to hear her entire pee. She was unbelievable when she went in there, the low pitch heavy sounding waterfall of a stream and the power of it and time she kept it going was breathtaking. She had the bladder of a horse and had no shame with it, didn't hold back at all. Many of the girls even at that age weren't far behind her capability so yeah the fountain trick was very useful. 

I've seen plenty of runners standing around checking their pulse, playing with their fancy watches and everything and yup they are in their own world, so you doing that was perfect. But yes, seeing who is making the pee sounds is much better, so it's twice as fun when you see a hot woman on her way in so you know it's her and not a 80 year old grannie you're hearing.

Brutus, I have had the fetish, virtually all of my life, since even before I was in grade school. I was often able to listen to female relatives and friends, in private homes, but public buildings in the Midwestern U.S. were more of a challenge. All had multiple stalls, separated by metal partitions, in large rooms, rather than separate rooms, with individual doors.The large rooms were solidly built, with brick walls, and solid wood or metal doors for entrance and exit, usually located at significant distances from the nearest stall. So sound proofing was fairly effective and background noise levels were high, with industrial strength toilet flushes, and the sink faucets, overwhelming the relatively delicate hisses and tinkles of the ladies. I envy your experiences in 7th grade! I never even tried, in schools, or other public buildings, because it was futile, with this type of arrangement and construction.

But I moved to California in my late twenties, and things are very different, here, thank goodness. Construction is notoriously cheap, when it comes to sound insulation of public and private bathrooms, so I have had quite a few interesting experiences, here. Individual toilet units, with very thin doors and poor sound proofing, are very common. I have posted some of my experiences here, on September 10, 2017, in "Real Pee Stories and Sightings" but I will check my files to see what I haven't yet reported.

I also remember that I posted a couple of stories about "Ellie," a former girlfriend of mine, in California, on PeeFans, same section, on July 17, 2017. She had the interesting habit of leaving the bathroom door partially open, whenever she peed, in homes or hotel rooms, when we were dating. I only dared to look in on her once, but I was able to position myself so that I could listen to her, almost every time she peed, while we were together. Her pisses were quite exciting, with very loud hisses, and several starts and stops, in any one session.
